How to Download Every Image, PDF and Video From a Website at Once

One rule before you start: only back up sites you own or are explicitly authorized to archive — your own server, a client site you manage, or content you have written permission to copy. Downloading a site you don't control can violate copyright, terms of service, or computer-misuse law. Step by step

Open the app, paste the URL, confirm ownership, and run the crawl.
When the tree appears, click the type chip you want — Images, Docs (PDFs, spreadsheets, docs) or Media (video/audio). The tree instantly narrows to just those files.
Hit Select all to tick every visible file, or expand folders and pick individually.
Click Download selected. You get a ZIP containing only those assets, in their original folder structure.

Get everything, not just what's on page one

Bulk grabs fail when the crawl didn't reach the pages the files live on. Two settings matter:

Crawl depth — raise it so the crawler reaches deep gallery or archive pages.
Max size — video especially will blow past a low cap; lift it before a media run.

Tip: use the search box together with a type filter. Filter to Images, type "2024" and you'll see only images whose path contains 2024 — perfect for grabbing one campaign's assets.

Why file type is detected properly

EZ Website Backup classifies each file by looking at both its extension and the content type the server returns, so a PDF served from a script-y URL still lands under Docs, and images without a clean .jpg ending still show as Images. That's why the type chips are trustworthy for a clean bulk export.
